Art @ Work Program

Our Art @ Work Program provides those with disabilities the opportunity to develop themselves as an artist. Encouragement is provided for these artists to sell and exhibit their work at various venues, teaching the necessary skills to frame and present their work to others.

Call for more information and to set up an appointment and interview.

Inspiration Ministries Artists hard at work creating a collaborative piece that was auctioned off at their Spring Auction and Dinner on March 4, 2011.

Inspiration Ministries is our first group of Art @ Work Artists. A special goal for this group is working towards a fund for all residents to use for transportation to attend cultural events.

John working on a winter scene .  The finished work will consist of 4 panels each depicting a season.

Cathy working on her layer of the fall season section.

Each artist contributed to each season, adding and complimenting what the others had done previously.

Here's Jane comtemplating on Spring.
This is Ruth. Busy snagging up some paint for her addition to the Four Seasons.

Betsy is setting the tone for fall. Although in the end the actual tree ended up not showing, the others who added to her begining were truly inspired by the colors that Betsy began with.

Here's what it looks like after the first session of ideas and painting.

Changes galore after the second session when artists added their unique marks and ideas to each season.

Stasia Wilson, another of our Art @ Work artists, met with the owners of Forget Me Knot Floral in Brookfield,  Wisconsin.  Stasia's work will be on sale in their
gift shop.  Pictured with Stasia are Deanna Nickey and Angela Pechanach. Not pictured
is Dana Zellmer

Forget Me Knot Floral is our first contact for our Art @ Work artists. They have a wonderful little floral and gift shop. Their goal is to support local artists and their unique visions by selling their work on a commision basis.
